A MAJOR RETROSPECTIVE OF JEAN NOUVEL AT MAP SHANGHAI

Ateliers Jean Nouvel are delighted to announce a major retrospective dedicated to Jean Nouvel at the Museum of Art Pudong (MAP), Shanghai.

To celebrate the museum’s fifth anniversary, MAP has invited Ateliers Jean Nouvel to curate and design a unique solo exhibition within the architecture that Jean Nouvel himself designed.

Organised from June 27st to August 31st 2026, this immersive exhibition offers a panoramic journey through more than fifty years of architectural and design creation, revealing the richness and diversity of Jean Nouvel’s work through a wide range of formats : moving images, scale models, archival materials, and a faithful reconstitution of our studio environment.

More than a retrospective, the exhibition invites visitors to experience the ideas and visions that have shaped his practice.
